Submit your Animation!

Aberdeen Animates invites animators, students, studios, and creatives from across Aberdeen & Aberdeenshire to submit their work for our 2026 celebration event.

 

We welcome:

• 2D animation

• 3D animation

• Stop motion

• Experimental animation

• Micro shorts

• Student films

• Independent and self-funded productions​

 

Eligibility

• Open to filmmakers 18+ and all experience levels

• Films must meet the length criteria of your chosen category

• All films must include English subtitles or captions if dialogue is present

 

Deadlines

• Early Bird: 31st December 2025

• Regular: 7th February 2026

• Final Deadline: 28th February 2026

 

Judging

Our judging panel will include local creatives, industry professionals, and community representatives. Full line-up announced soon!
